NetInformer Demonstrates 2-Way Request-and-Receive Messaging for U.S. At CTIA Wireless 2003

March 14, 2003 — NetInformer, a U.S. leader in wireless communication software and services, announced the launch of Request-and-Receive messaging, a new 2-way SMS service that allows customers or employees to retrieve information to their mobile phones by sending a text message. The service will be demonstrated at CTIA WIRELESS 2003 in New Orleans.

At CTIA, attendees will be able to sign up for useful show and city information by sending a short code to a dedicated phone number. The number is connected to a mobile application and database that composes a reply messages featuring CTIA information and tips about the "Best of N'Awlins." NetInformer will be one of the first companies in the U.S. to offer request-and-receive messaging services via two-way SMS technology.
